Registration Policy
1.
Register early! All programs operate on a minimum enrollment requirement as well as a maximum enrollment capacity. Sufficient enrollment must be met 5 days prior to the starting date.
2. Registration is accepted on a first come, first serve basis.
3. Participants are not considered "registered" until fees are paid.
4. You may ask a friend or relative to register for you.
5. The City reserves the right to cancel, change or combine programs when minimum enrollment has not been met.
6. Incomplete registration forms will not be processed.
7. You may register for programs late, if there is space available, however, fees are not pro-rated.
8. Credits or refunds will be given if you find you cannot participate. Refunds or credits will be granted if we are notified 10 days prior to the beginning of a program. In some cases, such as pre-arranged trips, refunds cannot be granted if expenses for the program have already been incurred.

If you need any special accommodations, please notify staff at time of registration.


Senior Pool Parties At Centennial Pool
Come and cool off during the hot summer months! The Adult Center offers pool parties, full of fun, great food, and entertainment. Lifeguards are on duty for those who want to swim. You may also choose to enjoy the BBQ and relax pool side after a long hot day. The entry fee consists of a $2 donation and a potluck dish to go with our main course. For more information, please call Debera at 757-2778.

Family Fun Carnival & Movie Night
At Centennial Park
Bring the Whole Family for an evening of great fun for all! Join in on the fun with 25¢ carnival games, clowns, picnic games, balloons, kids crafts, food, entertainment of local performers, an outdoor movie on the large blowup screen plus more to come! Food sales will be available throughout the event. Children can have fun participating in games and craft stations. Live entertainment is also in the works. If you are interested in being part of the entertainment, please contact Yvonne at 692-3111. Bring your folding chairs and blankets for the movie.

Summer Movies in the Park

Martin Swanty Auto Center of Kingman And Canyon Community Church
Big Screen Movies at Centennial Park are back by popular demand this summer. The public can thank Martin Swanty Chrysler Dodge Jeep and the Canyon Community Church folks for their generous donation to make this program possible. Movies will begin approximately at dusk (or about 8:45 pm) and will be on the grassy area west of Centennial Pool. The City of Kingman has contracted Arizona Venue of Flagstaff to provide the hi-tech audio/video equipment as well as the giant 30 foot inflatable screen. Bring your blankets, lawn chairs and air mattresses and come enjoy a pleasant evening under the stars watching a family movie. On June 27th Canyon Community Church will also be hosting a park festival complete with music, booths and food from mid-day up until the movie starts. The fun does not stop there! On July 24th the annual Recreation Summer Carnival will be held at Centennial Park prior to the movie. Both of these activities are going to be a lot of fun for the entire family. Concessions will be sold at the pool snack bar during both movies. Come on out to watch these free movie and show your support for Martin Swanty Auto Center and Canyon Community Church.

Mighty Mud Mania
The 31st Annual “Kingman Mighty Mud Mania” event will once again take place at Firefighter’s Park 2201 Detroit Ave. next to Kingman Middle School. Mud Mania is a FREE activity and is open to everyone who enjoys having fun and getting muddy. Participants will compete in eight separate age divisions for boys & girls and Men & Women. Divisions are as follows: 4 & 5, 6 & 7, 8 & 9, 10 & 11, 12 - 14, 15 - 17, 18 - 34, and 35 years & up. First place winners receive a t-shirt and trophy and second place finishers win a t-shirt. Competitors can begin to register at 9:00 a.m. on the day of the event.

Float In Movie at Centennial Pool

This aquatic Special Event is a fun way to cool off during the hot summer months while taking in a themed movie at the pool. Bring your tubes, air mattresses and other floating equipment, along with your family, and be at Centennial Pool on August 6th to complete the perfect summer day after Mud Mania. Concessions will be open all evening for your eating and drinking pleasure. Everyone is welcome but come early as 250 is the limit for this event. (Children under 4 feet or who cannot swim must be accompanied by a paying adult at all times.) NO EXCEPTIONS!

FREE Swim Days
This year’s FREE Swim Days will be brought to you by the City of Kingman Parks & Recreation Department. There will be special activities with games, contest, and giveaways. This is our way of showing our appreciation to the community for their support in our activities throughout the year. Bring the entire family to either the Downtown Pool located at Grandview and Gold Street or come to Centennial Pool located at 3333 N. Harrison.
